Dangerous

Like a massive serpent crawling through a narrow valley
The angles and turns conceal the massive size and power
In this case, she is dangerous, others cannot perceive why
Her form is mistaken for beauty, hiding fangs and venom
Her enemies don't know to flee, her instincts so uncanny
For fear of her abilities, the most dangerous will cower
Should they offer weakness or flee unguarded they'll die
But with a word or look, the potential prey feel welcome
She is the singular example of a lover, a noble, and killer

“To the unspoiled, even a snake bite is a loving kiss. But to
the spoiled even a loving kiss is a snake bite.”  Mikhail Naimy
