A mad ruler, harvested Athenian youth
In the twist of the maze's confusion
A one on one duel, a savage combat
Between bestial power and cunning
One with horns, strength and hooves
Versus a man, who entered willingly
Heroism, agility, and determination
Into an epic battle he then moved
A noble heart pulsing with blood
Here Theseus would slay the Minotaur
And he'd stem the flood, of sacrifices
Offered to a madness of the maze
Owned by a ruler enabled violence
And celebrated his power in the use
