Born in different dimensions, we met and wondered, pondered limits
Here he was, made of different wires, mechanics and electricity, so huge
His body looked odd, bulging in numerous areas, with different motions
With looks in his eyes, looking like a question, he'd nothing like answers
His gait walking, emptied of rhythm, his voice so loud it destroyed peace
One could see behind him, his path, and then might see the heavy impact
I was very small, for I am of faerie kin, I was grace and silent, not loud
I found him to be charming, yet certain no humans or elves thought that
Some are simply different, reflecting a fear in others, just by difference
I flew around him, around his eyes, and I smiled at him, he then smiled
He was genuinely surprised, as if this smile reflected his first happiness
His species was rare, thought to be dangerous, but I sang for him
He began to cry, perhaps I was the first being to make him happy
The heart of one so feared, he hid inside of his joy and hope
He gave himself permission to experience a thing so good
