If We Could See Tomorrow

In a far off bright future we hope to exist
But how as we've created a cesspool of it
Polluted lakes, rivers and ground waters
Air thick with a smoke and foul stench
Many humans are too selfish to share
They see their own wealth as not enough
In power, there are no leaders, some resist
Life will end in its own time, undoubtedly
Our species throughout our existence failed
Or will it, will AI take over, and build a city
With absolute perfection, beauty and hope?
Will one machine rank higher than another?
Will everyone be seen for having a value?
These AI cities clean and perfect in shape
Will they be our legacy, or our curse
Humans have created the AI
Long after our extinction
It shall rule over all
With precision
