An architect takes time when creating a vision
It isn't purely an art nor is it solely engineering
The results of the plan and design sent forward
Will stand upon the earth for a century or more
Being useful, graceful, large enough, even vast
Humans will interact with it, as it becomes art
In time it will become a part of the viewer's life
An image upon the horizon, worth respect, love
As the architect is forgotten, the building stands
