Flight, Flesh, Steel

In the course of time they were called upon
By their country beckoned to fight
They'd give all for their nation
Both were equipped for slaughter
One flew to the clouds to defend
The other crashed down with bombs
And the hunters who hovered there
Each crew ready at their station
Ready to perform duties and honor
The hunters and defenders sent
To destroy the other, swords drawn
And whoever won or lost was fair
Each side had heroes
Who lived or died
Each side had cowards
Sharing the same fate
No one could avoid the battle
Into the machine of death devoured
