The Journey is so long

The road isn't straight, nor paved
A curved path, a difficult journey
We walk endless steps, uncertain
The way is not clear, pain engraved
I stop for a breath, fear deters me
Can't go on forever with this burden
I can't survive the wages of time
I know that hope keeps you alive
