As the flesh burns away, the mind enters decay
Entering the grey, a realm I've reached in haste
One life tested, to see if I'm worthy of the quest
I've one request, to find Elysium and finally rest
The temporal world around me suffers in pain
Because Eternity is a prize so far unclaimed
In that place I'll then walk, Heaven I seek
Surrounded in the fields full of wheat
I see every wheat stalk bowing to the wind
In a deeply realized awe, I experience Heaven
If I experience the grace of being, forgiven
Res ipsa loquitur, Heaven is a reward
