Conjuring Hell

They did not live to tell
Three men without fear
Without wisdom
Without foresight
Read a spell
From a book
One had found
Imagined a vision
Of power
In the pit would dwell
A daemonic being
Drawn from the hells
With the precise words
Spoken darkly
Aimed to conjure
A demon
Willing to do their bidding
Sound the bells
And begin the prayers
To save the others
For the three men
Were taken
After refusing to quell
Their invocations
And idle words
That let
The demons
Free
