Anger, distrust, and boredom is engendered
When a mind loses its path, knowing shame
For the world wasn't given to us for our joy
Rather for our trials, with a firm conviction
We have a wonderful world, if we can hope
So many cannot, it is a world without trust
So in the end we are not all we can truly be
Bitter as if we earned or caused this world
