Knowledge was formerly said to be power
But in present times its a burden or a curse
For if one who knows of it, but doesn't act
Being warned, made aware, it is indolence
For inaction allowed malevolence to grow
If in my suffering, I choose to be ignorant
I've wounded others, by all of my choices
Oh God, Lord let me be aware of all sin
That in my selfish ignorance I've caused
Oh let me pay in repentance of my acts
