We've a legacy of great discoveries and human achievement
We also know, we've committed genocide, pollution and wars
If the world has faced crises over time, remember, we still exist
If we're not unable to act, or unable to foresee the consequence
We must think and finally act, for the world has great possibility
Progress must not be ended by ignorance or ever present hubris
Not modern Atlanteans, to rise so high and fall so far down
We're modern minded humans with ability to change our ways
We are not Atlantis, let us abandon our hubris for hope
Let us reach to the stars, and make space our home
We must find a planet that we can adopt
And then treat it much better than Earth
