By an Accident

He wasn't a greatest king
Nor was he well known
He wasn't the sort
Those generations following
Would speak of and glow
He was a boy
With an oddly shaped head
He was a king by birth
Not by skills
And he was neither great
Nor worth note
But he is remembered
He is known by a single name
For by accident his tomb
Was covered up
And forgotten
Without shame
Until someone found it
Under the rubble
And remains
Of others
And his burial shrouds
And gems
His treasures
That accompanied him
In death
Amazed the world
And they remembered his name
An accident of history
Brought him fame
For Tut was a boy
Who died as king
