The Youth Suffer

From my youth I remember everything
The popping, guns sounds and screams
The bullets firing and hitting the ground
We recognized the violence around us
With every dead kid there is no justice
The modern world filled with a silence
As the innocent die there becomes quiet
Blood covers a playground and school
In years society forgets, but never repents
The world won't know what happened
Only something cold and deeply cruel
