Given the world, an amazing blue green planet
Life abundant, the skies pure, the land verdant
With humanity's million years of sophistication
We've turned a glorious gift to a dying negation
Our ancestors survived, they had no other way
But supposedly bright, we turned earth to decay
I've no innocence in this, no different than you
We are all responsible, with all grace withdrew
I cannot repent, born into a system that demands
Instead I regret and ignore what others command
