Final Phase

Running down the only path forward, into the abyss
My flesh is left decaying, turning gray, a living Hell
Breaking down from life's wrath, an Angel will kiss
Taking me from the place, break through this shell
I've nothing left to hold to, as all my functions cease
The way and reason, temporary moves to permanent
The moment that the soul moves to the forever stage
Life is limited, eternity is endless, abandon torment
And embrace giving up control and losing all rage
All regret ends as existence enters final phase
