First Born

My first born was stolen from me
My heart in astounding grief
The Royal Wife inconsolable
The Hebrews are indomitable
By the slave race this was caused
We ignored them and believed our gods
The Hebrews deserve to be scorned
By their leaders we were warned
Plagues across the Pharaoh's lands
Led to a curse when I rejected their demands
To be released
To be free
And now the cost is my first born
My soul and heart are torn
For every tear the Hebrews will pay
They are playing games
And they will surely lose
As I have lost and been abused
