The Rising Spire of the Great Castle

Throughout the crafting of human history
Humans built symbolism upon architecture
They'd build walls, for their protection
Building portals and gates for traffic use
No matter someone's education or training
A spire rising above a town, and solid wall
It was meant to sent a message, as a symbol
Defining a lord's domain as magnificence
If the structure was soundly, well built
With the protective walls high enough
Few would risk their life to attack it
Making the castle and town a safe place
Sentries upon the walls ready, duty bound
At the sight of approach invaders warned
The spire was lifted high to give a notice
Anyone able to raise such a great tower
Would be able to call upon great armies
At any given month, day, or even hour
