People blame the Gods or blame moral failures
Humans find themselves to be entirely blameless
A reckoning will happen when temperatures rise
There will be no escape, no appearance of savior
Our ignorance of ancient civilization is shameless
But for research knowledge would be willful lies
We have a fear of knowing the end, and should
We consume the elderly and erase their lives
While stealing from orphan's their childhood
Well deserving our fate, ought to be despised
