In tears fallen, tragedies and love and joy
I embrace the light, as my heart has a duty
My hope must reach forward through time
While in Autumn a beautiful, season
I can see the beauty but there's great pain
Grieve through the night while in that place
If my heart is broken and the moment lost
With prayers yet spoken
I know fate has been embraced
All the events meant to happen
All those I choose to avoid
At this point I've grown old
Love is warm and I love
But I am cold
I haven't the energy
Nor the will to fight
Winter approaches
And there will be a frozen time
But I will wake from the sleep
Of the moment in Winter
