There it is, the order's keep
Within it, a group of men
A gathering of warriors
A military order
With plans for conquest
For centuries it stood
There, it long awaited
A foe so dangerous
It had to be controlled
And then punished
For all considered sin
They'd fought over dogma
Both sides unbending
Desiring to defeat the other
From a belief in their souls
To a place of fellowship
Worthy of the epic saga
Where men fought men
Over a desired cosmic end
Or was it really just slaughter
Based on prejudice
Based upon false ideas
Was there not one thing to do
With killing each other
In the name of their gods
But in perverse views
Falsehood held as truth?
