They rebuilt, and remembered well earlier days
In choosing nuclear power, it required amnesia
As the Fukushima disaster savaged Japan again
Some spoke of irony, but it was solely a tragedy
For they made choices and then didn't remember
They chose the nuclear path of energy to follow
They'd surrendered to a modern society's needs
While the earth was wounded, and yet bleeds
