Wasted Life, Wasted Love

Like spears coming down, December rains fell
So cold and but not enough to keep me frozen
Years chasing false hopes led me to a life in Hell
Others being loved as my heart was unspoken for
And in my core, I burned, with passion and soul
Never to share it, or freely speak, or even think
I wait for death to come, I will welcome his kiss
Death is an honest man and all must take his hand
Even if he is quiet, we will still reminisce
He might smile, but I'm ready to meet the man
