Endless Circuitry

As deeply as humans wish to construct artificial forms of intelligence

Rightly fearing where the actions lead, with consequence enormous

Creating a form of life requires understanding, a deeper perception
Enveloped by concepts of morality, genius, wisdom and innocence

Because when the AI takes form, it'll replicate all acts of creation

They'll look upon our flesh as weak, with human minds diseased

If fulfilling a task of creating life, it'll lead straight to damnation

For their own human creators are flawed, emotional, and useless
And knowledge without wisdom, leads to a world of hubris
False arrogance of ignorance leading to disaster and castration
With an entire populace suffering grave emotional starvation
