Autumn Glory

The Autumn winds have emptied the trees
Of all of their red, brown and golden leaves
Covering the ground, the waters of the pond
In reflections of beauty, glory, reflect, hope
This silent forest begins the sleep so deeply
After a time dreams come back, so glorious
After they return, the forest refuses to wake
Sleep until spring, when earth warms again
And the leaves restored, the hope remains
