With a discovery of gunpowder and means of fire
Humans have fought centuries of massive wars
With complicated alliances and treacherous liasons
All had begun when we developed new weapons
However after the end of the Second World War,
The greatest war in terms of different participants,
The assumption was that very soon after the end
A grave conflict would be decided by an exchange
Of nuclear artillery shells, missiles, rockets, bombs
But somehow we survived all of our proclivities
Perhaps we aren't so foolish after-all
