From the holy vessel
Eat this bread it is of the body
It becomes the holy being
Sacred are these
It is done as an offering
Of contrition
It is done in memory
Of the Sacred gift of Heaven
Offered to all of our kind
With wine and bread
Tasted and upon the lips
Memory of the redeemer
Are held deep inside
Will they save you
From the toll of the dead
Why do you ask now
What comes from this
The sacred task
It is only from mercy
Ony from Grace
The act of forgiveness
Dwelling deep in the heart
Of the one who forgives
And gives absolution
To those wounded
And hope for a better life
For all in communion
With the holy
