I have not had the doubts
The separation anxiety
We've all heard about
I have waited gracefully
By assuming nothing
And accepting gratefully
Whatever I learn there will be
If there is nothing I will sleep
Without dream perhaps
But those dark secrets will keep
Without revelations
Without mysterious denial
I've failed so many human trials
I've no doubt that I'll find out
Every iota of knowledge
That my heart is a field unplowed
Ready for seed
Guarded against drought
Wisdom a crop that blooms
Even in darkest weather
And the deepest doom
Ready to accept the victory laurels
For a life lived to conclusion
Without hope falling from view
