You thought I was a loser because I didn't act
Like the bullies and jerks who kicked my ass
I chose to be me, wasn't popular, but was kind
Didn't hurt others, I even considered suicide
My parents had taught me to treat others well
Whatever the person, whatever my own Hell
As an adult I'll smile, as I made it to the end
Without taking my life or throwing it away
Refusing to give bullies a win in any way
