Forgetting that upon the date, 9 years before
Albert Einstein received an American Visa
In the world around them, chaos swirled
The seeds of war were planted long prior
One date is seen as a disaster
The other, forgotten
But in the present
The world ignores context
Ignorant to the course of events
Catastrophes don't happen in a vacuum
Nor do brilliant assets of a state
Like Einstein, simply leave
Unless they were in fear for their life
Fearing for the safety of the world
Imagine Hitler with a nuclear weapon
Or a final invasion of Japan
Costing millions of lives
Savage and desperate was this victory
Given just hope, they found much more
By the result of winning
They achieved world dominance
The Allies did more than survive
