We are told that cannibalism is wrong
And perhaps that act is
It is certainly a taboo
But ask yourself
Is that because it is flesh
Rather than ideals and ideas
Is it more wrong to eat one's dead body
Or to devour one's living children
By making them follow you
And all of your flawed ideologies?
It is perhaps true that we consume our children
Use them, make them believe
Falsehoods, and reach for false dreams
So thereafter they are committed
To living in a way
That you'd live
How you'd behave
Rather than by their own views
Their experiences and concepts of truth
