The Scattered Bodies

Lost are never forgotten in clash of cultures
And there is change, of the course of history
With victory or defeat, cost is paid by people
However young, old, cowardly, or brave
All possess legacies that are interrupted
Torn fathers, mothers, sisters or brothers
Facing grave sorrows, war is made of misery
The kiss of death brings an end to the season
At the battle of Grunwald
Fought between Teutonic Black Crosses
And Red banners and White Eagles
In the end both sides lay upon the grounds
For the future intermingled in graves
With no futures, no forward path or lives
Only death, who brought a harvest
And the cost of conquest
