Labor Drones

Millions march, sweat, struggle
Others move in lock step order
Back and forth to mother hive
To perform their assigned labor
As they march, ever marching
Never ending, efforts relentless
Exhausted, inexorable, endless
Workers buzz around the hive
Each drone knows their duties
And they have a will unbroken
Answering questions unspoken
What is it the queen requires
We serve to the end of our lives
But we are tired, and weary
