Abandoned, Condemned

A tribe had to flee, leaving all that they thought of as home
Enemy invaders had attacked, killing many, causing pillage
The tribe left the wounded, elderly, new born children behind
Never thinking they'd damned the survivors to forever roam
Searching for their people, or to find their ancestral village
The tribe that fled forgot to keep the missing upon their mind
While the survivors wander, living the rest of their life alone
Even should a tribe member try to attempt to return
She'll find the village and lives left behind burned
Only carnage and damnation undiminished by time
