Love is not Musical Chairs

Your tears have stained the pillow case
While your voice is broken from the pain
Spent another night, another love is lost
In a life spent without mind of the cost
You keep choosing a velvet prison cage
With the angry men you'll never tame
You want to think they can be taught
But marriage isn't a war that is fought
When you choose, you choose the same
Leading to disaster and damning shame
You love but choose those who refuse love
Give your life to those who reject touch
You need more, but I can't tell you how
You need to change, change right now
I can't help you, but you need help
To choose before nothing's left
