If I do not pay her the attention she desires
My cat will scratch anything she can reach
If I do not obey her, and pay her obeisance
She destroys the things in my room I prize
But she is a goddess, a cat ninja, superhero
Who am I to judge, she loves me, innocently
And is perfect in my aging fading eyes
