I trust too often, believe in people I shouldn't ever
I want to trust in lies they tell, think them clever
If I go through life trusting no one, for any reason
I face a life in fear, and fail due to fear of treason
So cynical and worthless a view, even if true
I refuse to take this path, I might be a fool
I'd rather be a fool, than a psychopath
