The duty of every believer is to make a pilgrimage to Mecca
An epic path to such a remote place is wrought with danger
But dangerous conditions of life outside of faith results in pain
To live a solemn faith is hard, offering little immediate reward
Walking upon the hot sands of the desert can not be Heaven
But the result of such a walk brings one closer to seeing angels
A pilgrimage isn't about travel, is found within, without shame
When finished the soul is sharpened, as if by God's own sword
