We desired to learn, find evidence
Venturing there to discover origins
We found nothing, and nothing erased
Our search returned empty, no pretense
We were still alone in the universe
For our near future and all of our past
For some the visit would foreshadow a fall
We could only wonder what it would be like
To know a great mystery and meet forms of life
Life spawned throughout the solar system, or galaxy
We've no reason to turn back, our time to learn is now
