Rain Will Come

Some day they say a vast and long rain will come
With it, the dust and pain of life is washed away
All the filth that clouds our mind, pushed from view
So we all wait until then
Orphans diving for rich man leftover crumbs
Students dive beneath desks as gunmen slay
Hunger drives mothers to the street
Power is focused upon one
And not the many
Can they ever learn the truth
The world has no wise men therein
