As the Ravens weep

We are watched over by companions
They will stare and gaze from aloft
Watching humans fail and succeed
Without judgment, only company
Some of a victory comes at a cost
Some of our failure defies belief
They speak to each other in symphony
We are fortunate in their dedication
Orphaned as we are in modernity
In isolation with our civilization
They watch, and for us weep
