Ink for my Blood

I can't stop my bleeding, as words continue to flow
My blood is as black ink, and now I want to know
Why do I endure or suffer, why even bother to persist
I can't let the mystery exist, it must be understood
The lack of answers will make me twist, I need truth
So into the void I walk, silence surrounds my mind
Then my words begin to pour out, with a story inside
I've no choice, as I channel words from nothing
A muse speaks for me, a new poem is coming
I am the words I write, I am lost in time
Aware of flaws in my mind, I seek release
Every word I speak, allows me to believe
That existence reveals a purpose that is divine

“You talk when you cease to be at peace
with your thoughts.”         Kahlil Gibran
