When it's gone, there is nothing left

If you listen you'll hear their sound
The bulldozers and logger trucks
Taking away the residue
Of industrialized and materialized life
The simple existence upon the earth
Will soon be gone, and nothing left
For our plow turns ground
Into parking lots and even less
And those who resist will be crushed
Like a nail that sticks up pounded
But once it is gone, it is never coming back
It is impossible to restore
Impossible for the earth to forgive
What once was perfect and now a living regret
We as much as attack our planet
We deserve our fate of shitting where we live
