The Realm of Faeries Has Been Lost

Where there once was a queen
Now there is absence, a vacant throne
With faer blood pulsing in her veins
Her courage spectacular, endless
We'd bear upon our shields, her name
We've fought with glory
We've given lives
We persist
Our queen is sacred
So is this, which is her land
We fought without failing
But we've only so many
And with our domains all taken
We've nothing more to give
But our flesh for our queen
And soon
This land will pass before the mists
Forever in time

“For whatsoever from one place doth fall,
Is with the tide unto an other brought:
For there is nothing lost, that may be found, if sought.”

Edmund Spenser
