IN BIRTH BETRAYED

My existence was not an accident, despite the rape of a woman
Instead, I was allowed life, from the chance, she had saved me
Instead of life, I could've been sucked from the uterus, aborted
If I'd been called into being in the past, I'd be seen as inhuman
Now a bastard child, given up in adoption, society betrayed me
Mistaking the child for acts against a mother, my truth distorted
Life goes on, regardless of consent, so create your own truth
