Escaping the wrath

When tomorrow comes, at last, will it be surreal, will it be shrouded in sorrow
Who will be missing, what heart will still be broken, are all dreams unspoken?
In the darkness of the night, as clouds soften the moon's glow, and there's sight
Will you lose the path, be crushed in wrath, is there hope, just how will it last?
This life speaks to a world that never listens, addicted to self and to the night
Here there is no light, a grayness in the mist, hiding all the outcasts, like me
Where all others have been made perfect but those living will envy the dead
