Humanity will rise to meet the challenge
We will survive the present threat
All of our world's events
If we are told that the world will die
This human species will yet endure
Despite all of the warnings
The bad leadership, and the lies
If we're trapped in the mire
It is not the end
We must escape, if our future is dire
If all of our dreams are shattered
We will still survive the storm
We'll not go extinct
If our thoughts become scattered
Focused upon false beliefs
Focused upon historical failings
We'll live yet
With a manifest energy
We'll transcend the past
Open space before us
Our future will soar
Our spirit is still alive
Earth's children will thrive
This generation will not be the last
We'll die fighting destiny
And refuse our portion of fate
