Unequal, Injustice, Unrigtheous

In fear, our advocates hide and cower
They aren't looking for answers
They're there to obscure what you saw
Without looking to find the truth
All they want is soundbites, quotes
They compile it, release a "news" hour
We have no leaders, we have only masters
We are screwed until our backsides are raw
Holding themselves and their class aloof
They say our voice is found in our votes
But all of us know we don't have power
The government hides cures to cancer
And then forces on you unjust laws
They want us to change without proof
While junior senators take notes
For their post assumption money showers

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”   Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn
