From A Distance

A waiting threat hovers above the ocean
Fire in this body of flesh, burning, rages
From a distance, it rumbles, it approaches
Mass of black clouds pregnant with rain
A heart stopped up with hurt emotions
If precipitation falls, the fire will be slain
So much downpour bears a power ferocious
It takes time, as the expectations reign
When the final bell tolls, the fire dies
No longer wild, stills my heart inside
