People ask about choices, what would you do if
Or how would you change the path you once took
But there is very little good in something like this
Life isn't a chessboard, you can't take back the rook
Life's bad choices often remind us of what we have
What we would do differently can't be retroactive
You can't take a different path by taking steps back
I know few things, but know the past isn't interactive
The past is wrought, and the future is unknown
Whatever I've chosen to do is mine alone
“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” Søren Kierkegaard
